Personal Statement

I am Matthew AmoAmo, a class of 2024 student and a versatile 6’5” shooting guard/point guard capable of initiating offence.

Basketball is not something that i do to fill my time. It is my life, my unwavering passion for the game enables me to thrive in any team with any role. I am a student of the game who loves to find advantages, and weakness in my game in order to grow. My ability to continuously outwork anyone is what sets me apart. Which enables me to be the perfect guard for all schools 

My cultural heritage of Māori and Australian, enables me to set myself up to a well rounded young man. However i understand the challenges of the student-athlete and i am fully ready to embrace these challenges.
