Personal Statement

I am working everyday to be one of the very few Thai-American collegiate basketball players. Although I play for my school in Thailand and have been very lucky to be able to be captain all four years and have great team success, I've spent lots of time working out in the D.M.V. with Word of Life Christian academy during Coach Doug Dormu's time there, along with being able to play AAU with Global Squad. I firmly believe in leading by example, so I always hold myself accountable to be the hardest working player everywhere I go, whether I'm the best or worst player in the gym. Currently, I'm spending my senior year breaks flying over to Vietnam to workout and play with the Saigon heats pro team and participate in there training camp. Playing at a pro level has been a huge adjustment so far, especially since I'm the youngest on the court at all times, but I believe that the structure that they have will greatly benefit me at the collegiate level.
