Personal Statement
My aspirations are to get a scholarship and a degree to further enhance my future whether through basketball or education as you cannot physically play forever. I would be an essential addition to any team as i am an excellent listener and team player willing to sacrifice in any way for my team to win. I am also a good leader who adheres to coaches instructions whilst listening to the opinions of my teammates. I am extremely unique from other recruits due to my heavily charismatic and sociable character and due to my faith in Christ i am heavily optimistic and faithful for positive results no matter the situation. Coming from a Black, African household I am heavily family orientated and I look out for the best of my family which including my team-mates. Knowing where my family has come from inspires me to work dilligently and harder to create a better future for myself and my family. I have taken part in many sports outside Basketball including Cricket, Athletics and Rugby and in each of them i have achieved Regional trophies and titles for being the best in my Region. I have also represented my country England in Basketball and have been consistently named in the top 20. Academics are pivotal to me as they are what dictate your future and they would be taken seriously due to the heightened importance of them. I also understand the importance of academics as it allows you to be unlimited in wht you can do after the life of basketball which would allow me to explore other avenues outside basketball.
