Personal Statement
My name is Lethukuthula Mkhize, I was born on the 21st of May 2001 and live in Ladysmith/South Africa. I am now attending at Colenso Academy and that is the school I will matriculate in. I love the sport basketball, I started playing when I was 10. I have real ambition for the game ,I am harding working ,Dedicated and I never give up easily. I always do my very best at the court and succeed at it. I have got good handles, can drive strongly and finish with left and right. I am a team player, who plays hard defence the whole game. I am a good athlete, who works hard on strength and endurance. I always put my academics before basketball because I need to take care of my mother and siblings. I have played for the local team Colenso Squatters and we did our best ,but my team mates went out of line with doing drugs so we had to end our team. I would like to get this oppurtunity of playing in a decent team and I also find this as an oppurtunity to allocate myself in the right path and not put my life danger beacuse my neighbourhood is fading and there is no hope for athletes like me .I wont let you down
