Personal Statement

Hey coach! Thanks for taking the time to read through my profile! Here is some additional background on who I am as a person and as a basketball player:

I am a 15 year old American male basketball player who has lived in six countries and played basketball in Mexico, Australia, USA and South Africa for a total of 9 years. I will be moving to Virginia, USA in the summer of 2024. I have an excellent academic record and I have held numerous leadership positions, including being a basketball team captain in my school and clubs. Recently as a freshman I was a shooting guard for our high school varsity team, and the captain and point guard for our JV team. I am a dedicated, coachable, hard-working basketball player with good shooting, ball handling and communication skills and am currently playing in U15, U16 and U19 teams within two clubs and my school. I also help out with coaching and refereeing in my school PE and basketball. I am pursuing basketball and academic scholarships from universities with an ultimate goal to play in the NBA.
