Personal Statement

My name is Denzel Kennedy. I'm an Australian basketball player that has only played since the age of 13. I'm now entering my senior year and have passed my first year of senior schooling with very high levels of achievements in all of my subjects. I am a leader on and off the court. I assertively communicate on defense like it is second nature to me. I am not a selfish player. I will fulfill any roll my coach gives without argue or question. I do however, believe I am a versatile scorer, a solid rebounder and an efficient passer. In saying that, I am a very coachable player that is always open to feedback from my coaches at all times. I willsacrifice a good shot for a great shot and find my teammates open with an extra pass. I'm an explosive, ambidextrous, 2/3 combo that is hard to defend on the fast break and will always look to finish above the rim in transition.
