Personal Statement
'I can accept failure, but i cant accept not trying' is a quote that I believe in which was said by Michael Jordan who's hardworking attitude that I try to replicate in both my academics and sporting performance is the key to achieving my goals.
My goal in basketball is to make it to the NBA, I believe that through being recruited that i can achieve this goal by having high quality support and coaching to guide me in my journey. Academically my interest lies within the medical profession specifically cardiology because I want to help and save people with heart complications that may be a threat to life.
In terms of what makes me a good candidate for the team, I communicate a lot with the teammates and coaches, always willing to learn, working for the teams success first no about myself, for example wanted to score the most point and not passing the ball when the teammate is open, also understanding and supporting teammates to be their best version. In terms of my individual skills I am a consistence 3 point shooter and mid range shooter from the baseline till deep threes. I can also bring the ball up under pressure, have good court knowledge of tactical awareness both in offence and defence, for example tell the teammate spacing when they are crushing up and tell the defence to help or be in the right spot, I can also play defence and get defensive stops against guards and small forwards.
To make me different from other recruits, I can be the leader of the team and can produce a positive environment to my teammates and I can help the team and be clutch when the team needed me for scoring, I will still cheer on my teammates even though if they didnt make the shots, because this can help the team to build a positive environment.
