Personal Statement
My name is Jesús Madero, I am from Venezuela but I am currently studying at Lindenwood University (St. Charles, Missouri) on an academic scholarship. I'm here because I want to play basketball and no one at this university wants to give me a chance and I know I can be a great player on any team. I'm seventeen years old and I've been playing basketball since I was a kid. Since I started in this sport I have worked very hard with a lot of discipline and sacrifice and I have always liked to give the best of myself on and off the pitch. The most important aspect, I am an obsessed player, I always want to be in the gym and improve, it is my dream to play basketball at a high level and I will give my 100% to be the best.
I am a fast player, with good ball control, good game control and I am an excellent passer; respect and teamwork are very important to me. I stand out in the medium and long distance throw; in addition to the confidence I have in myself when making a play, I attack the basket with determination and at the same time I utilize my ability to create good plays. On the defensive side I love challenges, guard the best player is my goal, I intercept and steal the balls very well and I have a good jump to keep the rebounds. All the achievements have helped me to have a lot of experience and to be able to face challenges with more intelligence. I considere myself a very coachable player that is ready to improve everyday and help the team achieve all the goal that are set to be achieved. I hope I can be part of the team and conquer our goals together.
