Personal Statement
My name is Benit Kitapindu and I am a 19-year-old student-athlete studying at Griffith University in Australia. I am a 6'0 combo guard with a fierce defensive reputation that is highly known across the state. My defensive accolades define the type of IQ I bring to the team as my presence impacts offensive sets of the opposing team. I'm a strong believer in the statement "defence wins games". My offensive accolades are highly underrated. Being a 6'0 combo guard, I use my speed and agility to my advantage. Using my speed and dribbling, I can push the ball at any desirable tempo and can read defensive plays. Despite being athletic and being aggressive attacking the basket I utilise my speed to enter gaps to create my own shots and also create opportunities for my teammates by reading defensive plays. Basketball is a team game and It is the team that wins championships. This is the type of IQ and player I would like to bring to your program
