Viktorio Hida '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Viktorio Hida, and I’m a 6’8” basketball player originally from Albania, currently competing in Italy. I started playing basketball at 12 years old back home, but it wasn’t until I moved to Italy that I realized just how far the game could take me. Since then, I’ve committed fully — training daily, studying the game, and doing everything I can to improve.

My goal is simple: I want to play at the highest level in the U.S. and use basketball to create a better life for myself and my family. I’m looking for a college that will push me both on the court and in the classroom — a place where I can grow not just as a player, but as a person.

What sets me apart isn’t just my size or skill, but how I carry myself. I’ve had to adapt to new countries, new systems, and new expectations. I show up early, work hard, and take coaching seriously. I don’t take any opportunity for granted — every practice, every drill, every game matters to me. I know where I come from, and I know where I want to go. I’m ready to earn it.
