Personal Statement

My name is Martin Kahler, at the moment I live in Germany. I am writing to play basketball in the US in the Fall 2023 season. My interests in International Affairs along with my lifelong obsession with basketball pull me towards the United States. I have played basketball in Germany at a state league level for many years. I am a 6`1 guard and a very hard worker on and off the court. During the last three years I have worked extra training with a professional player from the US (now coach). My strengths include mid-range and three point shots, as well as driving to the rim. I went to an International school for the past 12 years.
