Personal Statement
I consider myself to be the best guard in Scotland. I play for the City of Edinburgh Kings and we compete in the U18 National Basketball League in England; we are the only Scottish team in the league. On the season, I am averaging 14.4 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 2.6 assists, and shooting 49.1% 2P%. In the preseason, we played against two EABL teams, Charnwood and Newcastle, in which I scored 22 points and 21 points. Against another top British academy team, Myerscough, I had 19 points and four rebounds, including 3-4 3FG shooting. I am a strong ball-handler with an excellent mid-range jumpshot and floater. I love to get into the lane and make a play. I am dedicated and hard-working, and I especially pride myself on being a vocal communicator on the court. As the point guard and one of the primary scorers, I embrace my role as a leader. I feel that I've grown into this role over the years as I've progressed through the club.
In the classroom, I am a high-achieving student. Last year my grades were equivalent to a 3.8 GPA in America. My education is very important to me, and the moment my preference is to pursue a degree in engineering although I am still considering my options.
