Hi, my name is Lone Busang. I am 20 years old and graduated high school in 2019. I am currently majoring in Exercise & Movement Science at St. Francis College in Brooklyn, New York but would like to transfer to a new school.
Academically, I believe I am doing well. My parents always made sure I balanced both sports and school. One of the key elements my coach taught me was discipline. Without it, a team would not be complete. That is what shaped me into the person I am today.
What makes me different from other recruits is the energy, intensity and discipline I bring to the team and to each game. I was never spoon fed, I had to earn my spot and I am willing to do so. I am an excellent teammate. I adapted a leadership role at a young age so leading a team will not be that much of a surprise to me. My primary position is shooting guard and my secondary position is small forward. I am a fairly balanced player both on offence and on defence. My strengths are creating off-ball chances for my teammates, aggressive on-ball defence, shooting and slashing. I do what the tasks assigned to me by the coach.
My goal is to play Division 1 or Division 2 college basketball and after getting my bachelors degree would like to go pro.
