My name is Harry Rowbottom, and my main goal is to play basketball at the collegiate level. My aspiration is clear- to contribute my unique blend of academic excellence and athletic ability to your program's continued success. As a dedicated and skilled player, I am determined to make a meaningful impact both on and off the court. Standing at 6'0, I possess the capabilities to excel at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Offensively speaking, I can complete this through my elite level shooting, whether it be off the catch or off the dribble. I have also become a great facilitator, and take pride in efficiently orchestrating my team's offense and plays, creating easy opportunities for my teammates to score and contributing to the team’s success. On the defensive end, I am tenacious and hard working. I possess the ability not only to defend quick undersized guards, but also can stand my ground against taller guards and wings. My high defensive IQ allows me to lead and manage my team’s defensive schemes, whether it be the fast play of a full court press, or being able to communicate rotations in a man-to-man or zone. Through this, I help my team in ensuring the opposition has to take difficult and contested shots or be forced to turn the ball over, into our hands. With a genuine passion and dedication for both the academic and athletic components of college basketball, I look forward to the opportunity to contribute and thrive within your team's dynamic with the support of some Aussie spirit!
