Kael Robinson '21 Recruiting Profile

My dad has influenced my life drastically, whether it is respecting others, discipline, determination, drive,  personal pride, or even just basketball, it has all come from him. When I was young I wanted to do everything like my dad, I would always get the same haircut as him, go fishing with him, play rugby and basketball just like he did. So my interest in basketball started when at a young age, watching my dad play in the local Wednesday night mens league with his friends, I would always go to his games, watching him play made me want to play.

Through basketball I have learned resilience, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership. I am looking for a program that will not only be a good fit for me athletically but also academically, as if something happens to me, I have a backup plan and career that I can pursue off the court while still being connected to the game. I can fit into teams in any environment, I believe I understand the game, but I have a hunger to learn. I know that I am a solid wing player who is capable of being a leader like no other at the college level.
