Personal Statement
I am 19 years of age, and I aspire to play the sport of basketball at the collegiate level.
I am a Jamaican National who currently lives and goes to school here. I began playing basketball at the age of 14 years old really only because I was taller than everybody else at my age but, as I started playing I quickly developed an undying love for the sport. I have been representing my school, St. George’s College, since I was 14 years old where I've represented the 14U, 16U, and 19U teams. I've also represented my country internationally at the youth level, as a member of the Jamaican National Team at the 2017 FIBA under 17 tournament in Puerto Rico at 16 years of age.
My favored position on the court is Power Forward and Center. Offensively I'm a good passer from the post, a fairly decent mid-range shooter, and a very good offensive rebounder. On the defensive end, I'm able to read the game quickly to block shots, disrupt passing lanes, get rebounds and guard quicker players on the perimeter.
