Personal Statement
After playing basketball for about four years, I've come to the realisation that I am committed and ready give my best efforts to become the best player I possibly can, and pursue my dreams of playing Division One, and going professional afterwards. Currently I am at the beginning of my freshman year, and going to be 14 years old, on the 17th of September of 2017. One thing that makes me unique as an student athlete compared to an average basketball player is the balance in my life. Even though I weekly attend three practices and two games, excluding the school team season that takes place in December, I am achieving excellent academic scores. In the end of the past two school years, I have earned the Honour Roll Certificate, which is an award for students who finish the year with a grade of 5 or above, up to 7, with the exception of one class. At the same time, I finished the season with high stats in both leagues that I played in. For ISSFHK (International Schools Sports Foundation Hong Kong) U14 Boys Basketball, with my school team, "CDNIS Timberwolves", I averaged 18.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 10.8 rebounds, through 8 games. In addition, on HKJBL (Hong Kong Junior Basketball League) U14 Boys Basketball, for the team "Shooters", I averaged 15.2 points, 5.4 assists, and 13.4 rebounds, through 15 games.
