Academically, I have worked hard in my learning, as well as knowing the importance of balancing sports with learning. Throughout my years of secondary school, I have been able to consistently achieve above standard and at standard grades, revealing my ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities. I believe that my strong work ethic and discipline will translate well into the demands of a college environment. On the athletic side, I have been able to excel in playing basketball. Since playing at 8 years of age, I continue to progress in the sport, spending many hours mastering my skills and pushing myself to higher limits. Through training sessions and participation in competitive events, I have developed a deep understanding of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. I take pride in my ability to lead by example, motivating teammates to perform at their best while keeping a positive and cohesive team dynamic and keeping composed during a tough matchup.
