Berk Namyeter '25 Recruiting Profile

My basketball career started in 2020 in a team called FESA Basketball. I played there for two seasons, in the first season they played me as a center and then in the second season I played as a power forward. In the 2022-2023 season, I transferred to a team called ITO (Istanbul Ticaret Odası). They played me as a center because I was the tallest guy in the team and I was the only guy who played center before. We were in the U16 A league (the best under-16 age league in Turkey) and we went to the Turkey championship that year. I became the second-best shot blocker in the entire Turkey. In the 2023-2024 season, I transferred to a team called Suadiye Basketball. I also played center in there for the same reasons as ITO. In that season I became my team's best player and played well against the best teams in Turkey. (For example Anadolu Efes, Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe etc.) When I enter a team I always start in the first 5 because I am a productive player. I can play both center and power forward (my main role is power forward) and I play both of them well. My best attribute is shot blocking, I always block a minimum of 3 to 4 shots a match. My second best attribute is to score the ball.
