Personal Statement
I am a driven and dedicated student-athlete who is passionate about basketball and determined to earn a Ph.D. in medicine. My strong faith in God and the belief that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" have helped me develop excellent time management skills, a dedication to teamwork, and a deep passion for everything I do. As a student-athlete, I carefully schedule my time to balance my academic and athletic commitments, ensuring that I excel in both areas. I also strive to be a leader on and off the court, setting a good example for my teammates and always seeking to be a positive influence on those around me.
On the court, I am known for my high game IQ and all-around playing style. I excel at defense and offense and am known - for my strong, athletic, and flexible playing style. I am an excellent rebounder and shot blocker, and am skilled at playing in traffic and making the right shot decisions. I am also a team player, always looking for opportunities to set screens and pass the ball to my teammates. In addition to my love for basketball, I am deeply committed to my education and my future career in the neuro field. I am constantly seeking out opportunities to learn and grow, and am passionate about using my Ph.D. in medicine to make a difference in the lives of others.
Overall, I believe that my passion for education and basketball, along with my determination and hard work, make me a valuable asset to any college. I am confident that with my abilities and dedication, I will be able to make a positive contribution to any college that I am fortunate enough to attend. My long-term goal is to use my Ph.D. in medicine to work in the neuro field, where I can continue to pursue my passion for learning and growth. I am eager to make a positive contribution and strive for excellence at the highest level.
