Personal Statement
I am so glad to put forth my aims and goals as a possible member on your team. I am an athlete and an academic, and it has brought me who I am, and works well with both athletics and academics, and I am committed to being a success in your programmes.
I have always been an athlete, always trying to reach my limits. I've played at a high level in basketball and learned the value of teamwork and being resilient at a high level. I really believe that my competitive spirit and ability to adapt make me a strong fit for your programme.
It isn’t just my ability that marks me as different than other recruits, it is my character. I feel like I am a leader on and off the field. sportsmanship and integrity. I learnt from my experiences that success is not all owed by victories, but a gift, also, that we share and uplift one another.
I’m academically committed to doing well in school. I maintain up to B’s while taking heavy coursework and playing sports. My goal is to pursue the degree in Cyber security as it fit the closest with my long term goals which is to be able to make my family proud and doing what I love. A strong academic foundation is important in the athletic world, I believe.
Finally, I have a passion for basketball, am committed to an excellence in academics and driven with a leadership focused on character. What I bring to your programme is my skills and values that I want to bring to your programme in a positive and competitive environment.
