Personal Statement
My name is Paris Constantinou and I live in Cyprus with my family. I am 14 years old and currently in the 3rd and final year of Middle School. In the next school year I will start High School and I have chosen the Sciences orientation. My goal is to be able to combine my academic aspirations with my passion for basketball. Even though I am good at all subjects, I have great interest and high aptitude in Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Computer Science.
I believe that dedication to my goal and perseverance are two of my personality traits that make me a good candidate for your team. I am passionate about basketball and allocate much of my daily leisure time to practicing the sport, both at Phoenix Basketball Club and at home. Moreover, I am industrious and methodical about my academic duties because I aim at a selective establishment of higher education in the demanding field of Sciences.
Loyalty, hard work, resilience and tenacity are the values that keep me going every time a difficulty or a disappointment comes up. I know that mistakes and let downs are part of every person's life path but I have learned to turn them into strengths and incentives for improvement.
