Personal Statement
I am a highly motivated individual with great communication and proven leadership skills. I enjoy problem solving and believe my work ethic, commitment and enthusiasm will play a good role on any team.
I have spend the last four years, part of the Charnwood college Ellie basketball programme playing basketball at the highest level in the UK. Playing in the EABL league as well NBL division3. I have been playing at National and International level since the age of 12, including representing Wales in the FIBA European Championships. Basketball has afforded me the opportunity to travel to many countries including Lithuania, Gibraltar, Italy and America. I have attended summer camps in Ireland over a number of years and progressed from student to assistant coach. I have been regularly awarded ‘Most Valuable Player’ and I consistently commended on my work ethic, my ability to understand and execute complex drills and demonstrate patience and encouragement to others. I have captained my team on regular occasions and whether in a captain’s role or not, step up to provide leadership to the team. Particularly in close games or when we fall behind.
This year i am currently in Norwich University where I train everyday and have developed my game. I am currently stronger, quicker and a more athletic than I've ever been and believe I can be a strong asset to any team and can play to many play styles.
