Personal Statement
Personally, my biggest achievement was winning the FIBA
European Championship in 2018. It was such a long journey to practice every day as a team and get better. It showed me how far commitment and hard-work every single day can get you.
I grew a lot as a player and person when I started playing Men's Basketball as I started to adjust my game to a much faster pace and more physicality. Playing in U18 I was able to beat most players just with my skill and speed but as I started to play at a very High-level I had to start beating my opponents with my brain as most of them were taller and stronger than me.
Additionally, my time in the summer playing for Balkan Botevgrad, a Champions League Team gave me a lot of confidence and experience as I could watch and work together with the Pros and saw that if you play all out you can compete with them and be just as good as they are. It all comes down to effort and believing in yourself.
