Personal Statement
my name is Bailey Thomson, I am a 5’8 Guard at Myerscough basketball Academy in the United Kingdom, I’m in the class of 2022.
I have attached a highlight video. Due to the global pandemic, I do not have as much live game footage. But I have some footage from last season and practice this year.
Although I have had minimal games so far, I have had chances to compete with players who have had recognition from the next level, learning from high level coaches and trainers, training with players who played professionally in the BBL, going against or playing with Scottish national team talent and NCAA talent. Learning skills, character development, mindset and understanding what it takes to get at that level, through training with them has pushed me to be a much better player myself, especially going against more physical and athletic players. Due to going against these players and learning or studying there moves it has developed me into a better player and prepared me for the next step in my career.
