Personal Statement
I am Tomas Mejia, an 8th grader out of Medellin, Colombia, I stand at 5'7 tall and weigh 120 pounds. My goals and aspirations have always been at a high top. I've always wanted to live out of doing what I love, that is playing basketball. What sets me apart from anybody else is that I have no plan B, I want to play at the highest level more than anybody else. I'm not afraid of hard work, my work ethic is very intense and I'm very mindful of what I have to improve in my game. I'm a good candidate because I'm a floor general, I have great communication with my teammates, my energy is electric both on and off the court. I know how to make the most out of every opportunity. I'm not lazy when working out. I'm always open to new advice and how to improve my game. When it comes to my ability, I can score on all four levels and can create opportunities for my teammates, and I take pride in defense. When it comes to academics, im a very disciplined student and I know how to balance my academic and athletic part. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
