Personal Statement
I feel as if I am a team player, I do not care about how much I get the ball or how much I score, as long as we are playing the right way and the way the coach wants. I am a leader, always trying to get the team to do little things. (counting out loud, getting all the way to the line and pushing themselves) I always try to guid those that are struggling. I am a hard worker, I spend around 24 hours a week on getting better at the game of basketball. I have a high IQ, I have been around basketball my whole life. My dad played at one of the highest levels possible whilst staying in Australia, he was captain of his championship winning team and a terrific 3 point shooter, so since birth I have been at all of his trainings and all of his games, helping the coach out and learning at the same time.
I want to go to college not just to play the game I love, but to get a free education, and to give myself a better future both on and off the court. To me my education is as important as basketball. Basketball is just my way to get that education.
