Personal Statement
To coaches, My name is Jack Gale aspire to become a D1/D2 division basketball athlete. My ultimate goal is to compete at the highest level in which I am able to be a valuable asset to whichever team I play for. I currently play at a representative level for Kilsyth Cobras Basketball club (under 18.4s), and also play for Warrandyte Redbacks (under 18.1s) domestically. I am a leader who is able to uplift teammates to achieve a better outcome. In addition, I am a player that can be put under pressure at any given moment and still rise to the occasion. Also, I am a high IQ player who is able to make teammates look better in game. I attempt to make strong relationships with all the players in my team to maximise the possibilities of achieving great outcomes and am constantly looking to improve aspects of my game. Finally, I apply myself well at school by creating strong relationships with my teachers and work hard to succeed in my academic desires. I want to either study in the law field, or pursue my endeavors in sports science.
Ultimately, I want to study in the USA to seek the benefits of a higher education, but also play competitive basketball at the highest level possible.
