Personal Statement

I’m a 6’6, 220 pound small forward, born in Orange, California but raised in Mexico City. I participated in the 2016 junior olympics as part of the Mexico City u-15 state team, and was part of the u-18 FMB national team in 2018. I was also admitted to a basketball prep school in San Antonio, Texas, and have performed in multiple tournaments and showcases in the US. Although I’ve received several scholarship offers from top schools in Mexico, my dream is to play college basketball in the United States.

I would like to study at a university with a great reputation academically and a team that I can make an immediate impact on. I would love to perform at the NCAA level but for me the most important thing is finding a school that can provide me the right balance between sports and academics.
