Throughout my journey as a Type 1 diabetic basketball player, resilience, passion, and an unwavering commitment have defined every step I take in both athletics and academics. Since an early age basketball has captured my heart completely. It serves as not only a constant source of happiness but also as an escape - allowing me to channel all energy and emotions into something positive. Nonetheless challenges have been present along this path. Navigating through diabetes management while chasing after my athletic dreams demands nothing short of discipline, perseverance, and adaptability.

My objective lies within balancing both athletic commitments and dedication to learning – understanding that a well-rounded education demonstrates its value when it comes time for college decisions.
