Personal Statement
New Zealand born, 6'8", 225 pound PF/C. Very high aspiration of attending at a US college, playing basketball and studying for a degree at the same time sounds like an ideal future.
Key aspects of my game : Very strong paint finisher and post player, can make reads off the on-ball screen on what decision to make, confident outside scorer and improving even more as time goes on, can comfortably push the ball in transition.
Playing basketball has allowed me to establish lifelong friendships and it is the source of my driven, relentless attitude. More importantly, it made me realize that having passion, drive and satisfaction is essential in enjoying everything life has to throw at you and overcome the tougher ones. For the amount of sacrifice and pain (physical, mental and emotional) I have endured over the years of playing basketball at a National level in New Zealand, it always bring me joy when the dedicated work has paid off. Attending a US college is a very high priority for me.
