Personal Statement
The opportunity to play basketball at a high level while studying engineering is something I have been aspiring to do for the longest time. Seeing as Europe does not offer such an opportunity and forces an athlete to have to choose between the two at a young age is one of the many things that makes the US so appealing to me.
I have always been the one that gives 100% effort in both academics and athletics. I enjoy giving everything I have both on the court, as well as in the library. I find myself being at my happiest knowing that I have done everything I possibly could to get better that specific day. I know that with such a mentality and work ethic I would be a desirable asset to any team, not only with my basketball skill but also with my leadership.
