Personal Statement
My name is Daniel Nwosu. As a person those around me have described me as very self driven and motived, confident, and humble. In terms of the way I view myself, I would agree. I pride myself on feeling as though I have worked the hardest.
In terms of a school I am looking to contribute to a basketball program in any way possible. I am willing to do the little things and work my way up to becoming a dependable player. I feel as though I could contribute anywhere in the country if given the chance. I am looking for a school that can offer me a great education along with a scholarship so my parents won't need to worry about where to get money. In terms of majors I am looking to do psychology and law. I have no preference in terms of school size, or area, although somewhere hot wouldn't hurt as I live in Canada and am fed up with winter.
In terms of experience I have been playing basketball since I was about 10. I was a starter for the U15 Ontario provincial team and the received 2nd team allstar award along with a national championship. I have played, competed, and held my own with the likes of Duane Notice and Olivier Hanlan and many other Division 1 prospects such as Kaza Keane, Isaiah Watkins, Peewee Gardner, etc. I have also had outstanding performances against Top Prep Schools such as Lee Academy. I also have an array of medals in track and field including events such as Pentathalon, long jump, highjump, and the 100m relay.
