Personal Statement
My name is Raghvendra Singh Bhati, I am an Indian who has lived in India, England and am now living and playing basketball in Norway. I have played many sports in my life, but ever since I picked up a basketball and played, I have aspired to play basketball at the collegiate level. I know that playing basketball at the collegiate level is extremely tough, yet it is my goal, so I will work hard to achieve this goal.
I have great court vision and can find an open teammate. I have high basketball IQ and very good perimeter defense. I am loud on the court and can communicate with my team and encourage them to perform better. I give my max in practice and in games and strive to be the hardest working player on the court. I am also a leader as I am captain of my team and school team, both in soccer and basketball.
Academics are also very important to me as I maintain high grades in a competitive IB school. I also work in the school, helping younger kids with football.
I want to attend a college that pushes me both in the classroom and on the court. I am open to all options and want to find a college that is the right fit for me and can help me to become my best self.
