Personal Statement
I play any guard position. My primary position is point guard as one of my strengths are to visualise the game before the play happens, read passes well. I am able to do what the game tells me; if I need to score I will score, if the pass is there I will pass. I am able to make shots from the 3 point line and beyond combined with my ball handling skills and finishing. My confidence plays a huge part in this too; I believe in the next play mentality.
My current weekly schedule includes 6-7 hours of exercise (plyometrics, weightlifting and core strength exercises), 2 hours plus of basketball skills workouts (ball handling, shooting and finishing), and playing live basketball (3v3,5v5 or 1v1) 5 hours per week
Off the court, I am equally passionate about my academic pursuits. I am fascinated by the world of computer science and the endless possibilities it offers. The problem-solving skills and logical thinking required in computer science align perfectly with the analytical mindset I bring to basketball. I am eager to delve deeper into this field, exploring areas such as software development, artificial intelligence, and data analytics.
I am excited about the opportunity to bring my energy, skills, and passion to a college basketball program that values both athletic and academic excellence. I am confident that my ball-handling, and three-point shooting ability will make a significant impact on the team, At the same time, I am committed to pursuing my studies with the same intensity and dedication.
I believe these dual pursuits will allow me to reach new heights and achieve my full potential.
