Personal Statement
My Name is Reeve and I am from New Zealand and I aspire to play division 1 basketball but with a very disciplined education. I currently attend a secondary school named MANUKURA this school provides me the right education and fitness programmes so for the future I wish for my future school to also have such a program to keep me on track. I currently stay with my parents and 2 out of 4 of my siblings, my family are very blessed to be able to pay for my stay at future colleges but my goal is definitely a scholarship but if to maximise my opportunity as in move to America my family are able to pay for my stay. I am quite tall standing at 5’11 and still growing i am predicted to grow up to 6’4 putting me capable to play 3 positions but primarily shooting guard. My coaches call me a two way player meaning I run the defence and offence my vertical is just above average but I believe with my height it will make up for it. I am a strong believer in living life to the fullest and taking every moment for granted and not wasting any future opportunities. I like to think I am a hard worker but I have been regarded by my peers as a tryhard. In the terms of basketball I am quite a pacemaker meaning I play at my own speed and I make it work.
