Personal Statement
Dear Coach,
My name is God'spower Ediong Thursday and I'm from Nigeria, I finished my secondary school at Faith Academy Day Secondary School in Nigeria. I Play the point guard position. I think I'm a good candidate for your school because of the kind of determination that I have and also the level of hard work that I posses not just as an athlete but as an individual. I'm very approachable and I'm someone that is always ready to learn and execute whatever the task maybe. I think I stand out from other recruits in character because I 'm someone that doesn't mind what is on the scoreboard doesnt matter if my team is loosing or not, I'm always ready to make a difference also in terms of athletics, I'm very hardworking and I know this is a common statement but I promise that you have not seen my level of hard work before because I know where I'm coming from, know where I want to be and I know the level of hard work that will be needed to reach my destination. I also stand out in academics because I really want to go to school and get a degree and the same hard work that I put in athletics is also greater in the side of academics.
- Please coach I really want to attend college and since my parents cant afford it due to lack of resources and money , I really think my talent is one thing that can make this dream of mine come through for me.
