Personal Statement
Hustle, speed, precision – these are the three words that describe my game the best. My best attributes in the game of basketball are my good handles, high precision shooting, creative finishing, ability to drive and my passing and ability to find my teammates. I am the most driven player that you will ever see, and I fight for a win in every single game, even if it is not my best game. Despite my size I love to fight for rebounds and other neutral balls. For me as a point guard my priority is to get open looks for my teammates, and I also am able to create situations for myself. I love to play with the flow and create extraordinary plays with just the fundamentals of basketball. I believe that communication between teammates is the key, so I embrace it fully, both, in games and in practice, by always being loud on both ends of the floor. I have good leader qualities, and I love to guide and help my teammates, whether it is on the court or off of it.
I started my basketball journey relatively late - only at the age of 12. At that time, when I only started to learn about basketball, some of my teammates were already playing in the national team level. Despite that, because of my hard work and not missing any practices, only after 4 years I was able to catch up and even surpass most of the guys at my age, and I was already selected for the U16 national team. I believe that I still have a lot of potential in the game of basketball and I am definitely willing to work hard to fulfil it!
Going into college my goal is to be the best in academics and in basketball, I want to graduate with a diploma in my hand and as many championships as possible. I value highly education and love to study and acquire new, useful knowledge. I love exploring new areas in knowledge academically and also in basketball. I am always open to new ideas and am willing to work hard to get to my goals.
As I am a family guy, my goal is to make my parents proud and to play in front of them on the big stage in college basketball.
