Personal Statement
Hi, I am Antonio White and I am 16 years old. I am from Memphis, Tennessee but I am currently living in Rota, Spain. I have been playing basketball since I was 5 years old. A couple years ago I was lucky enough to move out of Memphis and move to Southern California, where I got more exposure. In California, my Freshman and Sophomore year, I attended Paloma Valley High School. We were not the best team but we did fairly well. My club team was Triple Threat Murrieta.
Moving towards my Junior year I was blessed and we moved to Rota, Spain, where I am furthering my basketball career. I currently attend David Glasgow Farragut High School. As the point guard, I led my team to The European Championship, but sadly we were runner ups. I did however, receive MVP All Tournament. Next year I look forward to leading my team again, but this time I am confident that we are going to win.
Each year and every practice I grow as an athlete. I take my studies very seriously and I am excelling in various different subjects. I recently made High Honor Roll by maintaining a 3.8 GPA throughout the first semester. My goal is to earn a college scholarship to continue my career in basketball.
