Personal Statement
Basketball has helped me shape my character over the years. I have learnt several keys to success such self discipline, motivation and facing challenges, fears, obstacles all of which I have applied outside of basketball as well. I envision my college years to be a period where I can have personal growth which can enable to continue to work outside my comfort zone. My goal is to explore a business degree that will position me well for the 'real' world . On the basketball court, I plan to be aggressive point guard and have a positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college basketball career, I will strive to be a threat and play an important role in the team . Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the court.
