Personal Statement

Despite only playing two seasons of basketball, I am competing at the highest level in the Madrid league in Spain and am highly motivated to improve as an athlete every day. I work very hard on and off the court and take direction well, I am versatile and very much a team player - thanks in part to having competed in club soccer in Europe since the age of six.

I am also a strong student planning to study Biochemistry and currently completing the IB Diploma Program. I am bilingual in English and Spanish, raised in Spain with an American mother and Romanian father.
