I was 14 when I started playing basketball competitively, I was 10 when I started playing sports competitively, starting with soccer, then 4 years later basketball. Basketball came to me naturally, and so did my love for the game, along with my passion for the work that I put into the game. This is why I believe that my love for the game is stronger than others because it was never forced on me, I wasn't told to play, I just naturally found comfort in the game and grew with it. Playing the game of basketball has always been naturally enjoyable, whether it be competition or pick up at the park, I would always be happy to be on the court. On the court, I feel that I am differentiated from other players based on my elite ball-handling ability, my craftiness around the rim, my ability to shoot off the catch and off the dribble, my ability to make difficult passes in tight gaps, my ability to guard positions 1 - 4 as a 5'10 guard, but I think most importantly the passion that I bring to the court and the emotion which I play with. whether it be holding my teammates accountable by telling them how to improve or giving them props for doing something good, I am a very vocal player on the court. Having lived in 6 countries across 4 continents I am very used to adapting to different systems, different people, and different settings, not having it affect how I play. Being exposed to so many different cultures at such a young age has helped open up my eyes and allowed me to have so many opportunities to grow, socially, and as a communicator and leader. Not everything in my life revolves around basketball, but basketball revolves around everything in my life.
