Personal Statement
Hi coaches, I am a sophomore student from an international school in Shanghai. I hope I can come to the States to play college basketball through my unremitting efforts. I started to play basketball in grade 6 and received systematic training in grade 8. I am currently the starting point guard for varsity and club teams（they are all competitive in Shanghai). I have played baseball, tennis, ice hockey and football since childhood, but basketball is the sport that I really love and insist on for the longest time. Basketball has given me great meaning and companionship during my teenage years. My parents divorced when I was in primary school, and neither of them had the ability to raise me, so I lived with my grandfather since childhood. He taught me a lot of truth and encouraged me to take up sports. I hope I can contact you through this platform and successfully embark on the road of dreams.
