My name is John Fairbairn and I am a 6 foot 5 guard for Itchen College Basketball and Team Solent Kestrels. My aspirations are to play college basketball at a Division 1 level while attending an academic college. I believe I am a good candidate becuase of my work ethic, my drive to become a better basketball player and my ability to maintain a high level at school while putting in a lot of effort into basketball. My strengths on the court are my size at my position, my versatility, my shooting and my weak hand. What makes me different is that I am used to making my way up on teams and that I will stay comitted, regardless of failure.

- As a u19, I was able to play in the NBL Divsion 2 men's in the UK. This is the third best league after BBL and NBl division 1. For my team I am currently the top scorer and out team has a record of 10 and 6 putting us almost in the playoffs. We still have 6 games left of the regular season

- In this I have worked with Peter Marciasciano, David Haye's ex trainer, and have put on 35 lbs of muscle during this time going from 170 to 205. I have been comitted over the year into getting more athletic and stronger, often training 4-6 times a week alongside basketball.

- Almost every Friday I attend skills workouts with Coach Addy where I develop my game in all areas. This benefits me especially during the season, as it complements the intense, more team focused trainings that take up most of the week.
