Personal Statement
As a student athlete I am expected to be able to contribute at a high level on the court and especially within the classroom. I find that a lot of athletes cannot perform both tasks at a very high level, it is either one or the other. But what separates me from other student athletes is that I can contribute in both fields of my career and I can do it fairly well. I am able to do this because of my character and my personality towards both of these two aspects. I am a hard worker who never gives up on anything in any situation, I am a great communicator and I have a strong presence when I speak or when spoken to. Lastly, I am very coachable and I understand and take instructions very well. I know when to question and when to take action. This aspect of my character and game is what I take with me into everyday life as well. I am not simply just a player or a student who goes with the flow, I am looking to standout in every and any way possible. All these points given are the basis of my skills and these tools I believe will help me get to the next level and that level is a high academic school with a very good basketball program. I want to attend a school where not only am I going for just basketball or academics, I am looking for a school that can help me excel in both fields. I want to be able to go to University or College that supports me in being the best possible student athlete I can be and to guide me on the road to much success. I want to graduate with a degree after University/College that leads me into receiving a well paid steady career in the fields of either the business or law industries. I find that these two fields are the fields that I will be most likely going into after I finish school. Now to reiterate all of this is that no matter what school I choose to go to I am looking to achieve high success and to work hard and earn something for the future that is yet to come.
