Personal Statement
My name is Angus Nelson, a 6'5" class of 2024 wing. I've grown up in Melbourne, Australia yet my dream is to make an impact at the collegiate level. I believe my work ethic is what defines me; I don't expect anything, and I seek to work for everything. My coaches regard me as a high motor player, I am often versatile in position, between running the point and shifting into a forwards position in a small-ball lineup. Coaches value my leadership both on and off the court. In most recent times, I was selected by my teammates as vice-captain of our under 23 year-old representative youth league team. I am eager to make an impact at the next level, and I know my dedication to the game will not only yield my self-success, but also foster a greater culture and winning brand of basketball for whatever program I am apart of.
