My primary reason to study in the United States is not only to pursue higher education degree but also learn and take advantage of the opportunities offered for the sport of basketball. I am in pursuit of greater professional achievements and in this process reach my best level of competence.
I currently study at Bethlehem College in Tauranga, NZ. It provides a rich, broad curriculum that promotes student learning. I strive and work hard to achieve highest possible grades and am always available to help my peers and classmates.
During my 2019 visit to NASA, I attended an NBA basketball game which changed my life, and since I have been playing basketball for Bethlehem College Senior Team and Tauranga City Basketball rep teams. I have strong ball handling skills and a high IQ. I am very flexible but primarily play in the position of shooting guard/small forward. I pride myself on both my work ethic and ability to be a great teammate. I am coachable and highly motivated to give my best on the court.
Ultimately my goal is to play basketball professionally and also have a career in accounting. I would like to attend a college where I can use my academic and basketball skills. I am extremely grateful for all the opportunities and I hope to become a role model to my little brother and make my parents proud.
