Personal Statement
Dear Coaches,
My name is Garth Jepsen. I'm a 6'7" wing from New Zealand and apart of the class of 2022. I currently play for the Nelson Giants here in New Zealand which is a profession team in the NZNBL on an amateur contract.
Me as a player I'm a very athletic versatile wing man that loves to run in transition and play at a fast past. I can stretch the floor with my improving 3 point shooting and can guard multiple positions with my length and speed. I'm also a strong communicator on the defensive end and love feeling of locking down offenses with good teem defense.
What I would want from a program is somewhere that will push me and challenge me spiritually and athletically, as well as a place that will help me excel academically. Being on a team that has good culture and morals means a lot to me and is probably the main factor in what I look for when choosing a school.
