My name is Izaak Taula and I am a 5'10" PG/SG from Tauranga, New Zealand. I am a hard-working, committed, and ambitious individual with aspirations to achieve at a high level in the academic and athletic arenas whilst living a life dedicated to serving my God, Family, and friends. 

My academic interests go hand-in-hand with my athletic ambitions. Whilst seeking a high-level education in the area of Sport and Recreation, Media, or something similar, I also hope to be involved in a basketball program where I am able to learn and develop as a player whilst contributing as an athlete and member of the athletic community.  I am a fiercely loyal individual, which means that if I am privileged enough to be a part of your program I will be committed to giving everything I have to my coaches, teammates, and program. I am a willing learner and relish any opportunity to expand my game as well as develop my character. I am an unselfish, determined, and well-rounded player on the court, and believe that I can add value to your program on multiple levels. 

What I hope to gain from an experience as a student-athlete is a high level coaching and mentoring regarding all things basketball, a great education, the experience of living abroad, and an opportunity to contribute to and be part of an organisation that I can be proud of and passionate about. By investing in me as a prospect you can expect overwhelming reciprocation of that investment through hard work and commitment to the team and wider program.
