Personal Statement
I have always wanted to play collegiate-level basketball while receiving a college degree in exercise science to fulfill my dream of being an athletic trainer someday when I stop dribbling a basketball. As a student-athlete, you learn many traits and characteristics on and off the court. As a point guard, I believe I can help lead five individuals to work as a cohesive unit on the court as I contain the necessary skills to uplift and help others thrive with my ability to communicate with the team, demonstrate accountability with the desire be coachable to learn so I am able to take my game to the next level. Being a student-athlete prepares for the challenges in life teaching you about discipline and time management. All these traits are companionship, communication, respect, self-discipline, and connecting with others. These qualities you learn on the court and in the classroom to help prepare you for life after college in the real world.
